Nov. 25th, 2014 04:47 pm NETWORK - INDEX - OOCAll around you, the world is undulating in sickening twists of motion. Consciousness comes back to you in nauseating, shaky waves, and with it come the distant sounds of clicks and beeping. All your muscles, your skin, your bones ache with a cold that seems to have settled in. A metallic taste floods your mouth, burns in your nose, makes you retch weakly. The movement jolts your spine, and the dull ache in your head rises up again. It pounds, overwhelming, in time with the beeping that gets louder and louder. You fall, overcome with a sense of impending doom - You awake with screeching in your ears and sit up in a panic. Everything around you swims for a moment before resolving into focus - your bed, your walls, your ringing alarm clock. You swing your hand over to hit it and succeed in silencing it, your heartbeat beginning to slow. That… was a weird dream. You were in a hospital - or, no, was it a hospital? You were so cold, and then you were falling… … Well, anyways. Wherever you were before, you’re here now . No time for that; .you have to get ready for school.
